Share the joy of reading on World Book Day

The 2nd March 2023 marks World Book Day, a time to celebrate stories and encourage reading for pleasure. Reading with your child can make a big difference to their development and can boost their creativity and imagination. World Book Day offer £1 book tokens which your children will receive through their school. Tokens can be redeemed to get a free £1 book, or they can be used to get £1 off a full price book. Retailers such as Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda, WHSmith and more are participating in World Book Day, to find your nearest World Book Day retailer visit their store locator. Tokens can be redeemed from 16th February to 26th March 2023, don’t miss out!

World Book Day have plenty of activities and advice for parents and children on their website, including Share a Story Corner which has lots of videos of a wide range of children’s stories available to watch for free.
