Fun activities to do in Medway in June

June 1 marked the start of summer, and the longest day of the year (summer solstice) takes place this week on 21st June. The summer solstice marks the point where the sun reaches the highest point in the sky. With summer starting, you may be thinking about the summer holidays and what to do with your children.

MedwayGo’s summer programme offers FREE fun filled activity days and holiday clubs for children aged 5-16 and are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. 

Football, tennis, swimming trampolining, Snowsports, performing arts, drama and dance are just some of the activities on offer in Medway this summer. Our website will be live for bookings from 3rd July, don’t miss out!

Whilst you’re waiting for MedwayGo to start, why not try out some of the other fun activities taking place in Medway this June?

24th June- Armed Forces Day. This is a free event held at the Great Lines in Gillingham to celebrate our armed forces. There will be lots of fun activities including a military parade, armed forces displays and demonstrations as well as a family funfair!

8th July- Chatham Carnival 10am-3pm. A day of free fun activities in Chatham high-street, there will be parades, stalls and performances throughout the day.
