Cardboard Rainbow Collage

Brighten up your crafts with this rainbow collage!

With February half term coming up, why not try out this Cardboard Rainbow Collage craft activity you could do at home. Children can get creative with colour and experiment with a range of different craft materials to create their rainbow. This activity utilizes leftover materials or things that would have otherwise been thrown away, all you need is:

– Cardboard (e.g. used cereal box)

– Range of craft materials (e.g. pompoms, scraps of paper/card, colouring pens/ pencils, old magazines)

– Glue

– Scissors

– String (optional)

You will first need to cut a rainbow shape out of a piece of cardboard. Then, using glue, stick your craft materials onto the cardboard in the shape of a rainbow. Children can glue their materials according to the colours of the rainbow or could create a multicoloured rainbow instead!

This craft is perfect for displaying in your home or window! Once your child has finished the activity you could display their rainbow using a piece of string.
